A wealthy, emotionally distant man offers shelter to Lexi, a homeless woman, after seeing her searching through trash with determination. Though initially reluctant, Lexi accepts his offer to stay in his garage-turned-guest-house, and over time, they form an unexpected bond.
As they spend time together, Lexi opens up about her painful past, revealing she was once an artist before her life unraveled after her husband left her. Despite her sharp wit, there’s a deep sadness beneath the surface that the man relates to.
