Jason Momoa recently announced his new girlfriend on Instagram, and it’s been the talk of the internet. His romance with actress 32-year-old Eiza González, who starred with him in the 2021 Netflix film *Sweet Girl*, had been a long time in the making. Although Momoa and his ex-wife Lisa Bonet had been separated for almost five years, they remained legally married until their divorce was finalized in January 2022.

Momoa shared a series of photos from a recent trip to Japan, where he referred to González as “mi amor” and expressed his gratitude for their shared adventure. Their photos together show them affectionate and happy, with the actor writing about the wonderful memories made in Japan.

González had been previously married to attorney Edgardo Canales in 2019, but it’s unclear when or if they divorced. She has also recently worked with Momoa’s stepdaughter Zoë Kravitz, who chose her to direct *Blink Twice* starring Channing Tatum.
