Donald Trump Jr. has broken his silence after he and Kimberly Guilfoyle called it quits.

Following his separation from Kimberly Guilfoyle, Donald Trump Jr. opened up about their relationship. In a December 13 interview with Page Six, he expressed that he and Guilfoyle would always care for each other and share a special bond. Trump also praised her role as the U.S. ambassador to Greece, saying she deserved the position more than anyone else.

Trump confirmed that he and Guilfoyle ended their engagement before the election and began dividing their assets in late September. Despite the breakup, an insider claimed the split was amicable, with Trump being the one to call it off. The couple kept the breakup private, focusing on other significant issues instead.

Though their romantic relationship ended, Trump and Guilfoyle have both moved on. Trump has been linked to socialite Bettina Anderson, with sources claiming he’s “smitten” with her. Meanwhile, Guilfoyle has had two previous marriages and shares an 18-year-old son, Ronan, with her ex-husband Eric Villency.

Both Trump and Anderson have kept their new relationship out of the public eye, but they were spotted together in Palm Beach, Florida, holding hands in December. Neither has publicly commented on their romance as of yet.
