Beloved country singer Ivana Pino Arellano, known as “La Rancherita de Chanco,” tragically passed away in a car accident on the M-80 road near Pelluhe, Chile, just one day after celebrating her 32nd birthday. The car lost control in wet conditions, flipping and killing Arellano, while seriously injuring her passenger.
Arellano was not only admired for her music but also for her contributions as a passionate public servant in her community. The Municipality of Chanco honored her for her dedication, describing her as an important figure whose impact would be remembered for years to come.
Her funeral took place on June 17 at Curanipe Parish Cemetery, where friends, family, and fans gathered to pay their respects. The grief of her loss was felt deeply, as she had a special place in the hearts of many.
