Chris Wright has been confirmed as President Trump’s Secretary of Energy, winning Senate approval 59-38. As CEO of Liberty Energy Inc. since 2011, Wright will help implement Trump’s pro-drilling energy agenda.
On his first day, Trump declared an “energy emergency,” reversing Biden-era policies, lifting the LNG export pause, and rolling back climate regulations.
