President-elect Donald Trump made history by winning Bucks County, Pennsylvania, marking the first time a Republican candidate has secured the county since 1988. The Bucks County Republican Party proudly announced this victory, crediting the efforts of committee members, volunteers, and grassroots groups.
Republican activist Scott Presler, who spent nearly the entire election working in Bucks County, played a significant role in this achievement. Trump won the county by a narrow margin of 0.07 points, or just 291 votes, underscoring the close nature of the race.
Despite late votes bringing Kamala Harris closer to flipping the county, she ultimately did not succeed. Eric Daugherty, Florida Voice News Assistant Director, confirmed that the final results showed Trump’s win, making it a remarkable shift for the county from blue to red.
Some supporters of Vice President Kamala Harris have suggested that her loss can be attributed to President Joe Biden’s late exit from the race, but many former campaign staffers dismiss this as unrealistic. They argue that Harris’s inability to connect with voters and appear authentic contributed more to her defeat.
