A group of young heroes, known as the “Tremendous Twelve,” helped police catch two burglary suspects during an Easter egg hunt in Surrey. These resourceful teens, ranging in age from six to twelve, used a clever human arrow formation to guide a police helicopter toward the robbers.
Their heroic moment began when they noticed a helicopter circling above while they were in a field. A nine-year-old girl recalled seeing a man running along the edge of the field, removing his jumper and wrapping it around his head. The children tried to signal the helicopter, but it wasn’t responding.
Determined to help, two of the children suggested forming a human arrow. They quickly positioned themselves on the ground, and after resting for a moment, the helicopter saw their signal and turned toward them.
The kids, who were accompanied by their Yorkshire terrier, Molly, said they felt incredibly proud of their actions. Their quick thinking led to the successful capture of the suspects, and they couldn’t have been happier about the outcome.
