Years Before Being Diagnosed, Christina Applegate Disclosed A Minor Symptom That Indicated She Had Multiple Sclerosis

Christina Applegate, diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021, revealed she had experienced symptoms for years, such as her leg buckling while filming Dead to Me. By 2021, her condition worsened, and she used a wheelchair to get to set.

Despite the challenges, Applegate finished filming the final season of Dead to Me, feeling a “duty” to complete her work.

She also shared that acting helped her cope with personal trauma, offering a cathartic outlet for her struggles.

Her perseverance through MS has made her an inspiring figure to many.
