A young woman walked into the church confessional, her golden blonde hair shining in the dim light. She nervously clasped her hands together and began, “Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. I’m pregnant.”
The priest, an elderly man with a kind expression, was taken aback and asked gently, “How did this happen, my child?”
She hesitated before replying, “I think it must be the second coming.”
The priest, thoroughly confused, asked, “The second coming?”
With a mischievous smile, the woman nodded. “Yes, Father, because I swallowed the first one.”
The priest sat in stunned silence, unsure whether to laugh or reprimand her, leaving him to mutter, “Lord, help us all.” As she left the confessional, she smiled, leaving the priest in complete disbelief.
