It will review medications like SSRIs, antipsychotics, stimulants, and weight-loss drugs, with a report due in 100 days. However, the order has faced backlash from healthcare professionals, who argue that mental health medications are life-saving.
Critics warn that this could stigmatize mental health issues and harm children by delaying necessary treatments, with many social media users expressing similar concerns.
