How Barron Trump is making friends at NYU

Barron Trump, now 18, is adjusting to life away from his father, Donald Trump, after enrolling at New York University (NYU). Barron, who previously attended Oxbridge Academy in Florida, lived a protected life with Secret Service detail and limited social interactions.

At NYU, he’s trying to make friends, though not in the typical way. His classmates have mixed feelings about him, with some acknowledging his popularity while others are put off by his background. Barron has taken to online gaming as a way to connect with peers.

Despite the challenges, he’s described as “chill,” though his college experience remains far from ordinary due to his heightened security.

His mother, Melania, has emphasized that his college life will be unlike any other student’s.
