He expressed gratitude for U.S. support on X, stating, “Thank you America, thank you for your support,” and emphasized Ukraine’s need for a just and lasting peace.
In a Fox News interview, Zelensky reiterated his appreciation for American assistance and declined to apologize to Trump, stressing the importance of open communication.
He expressed a desire to repair his relationship with the U.S. and highlighted the need for security guarantees in any peace deal with Russia.
Zelensky mentioned that a deal regarding Ukraine’s rare earth minerals was canceled after the Oval Office incident, calling it vital for security. He also addressed Senator Lindsey Graham’s suggestion that he resign, asserting that only the Ukrainian people can decide his fate through elections, which are currently on hold due to martial law.
