Rachel Wooding appeared on Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) and surprised everybody with her agile and robust voice. Able to reach the most extreme notes and emoting in a way that very few could, she had everybody on their feet at the end of the song.

Rachel sings ‘With You’ from Ghost the Musical, but the 37-year-old mother has a nerve-wracking interview with BGT judges before she does that. What surprised the judges was that she used to be an actress, but she was as nervous as a newbie on stage.Rachel Wooding

When Simon Cowell asks Rachel why she is so nervous, she replies: I know people say this, but having a baby, I am still the same person, but it changes you. I am still me, but I am not.’ Shortly after, Rachel starts to sing, and all the nervousness disappears.

Rachel appeared in many theatre shows and musicals. One of her more famous roles was the role of Scaramouche in the musical We Will Rock You. Her theatrical training explodes onto the audience as soon as she starts singing.

Nancy Fox wrote online: ‘She actually sings. She emotes the lyrics, which so many of today’s “singers” have no idea how to do. Her diction is perfect.’ Her performance is loved by millions all over the world.

It is no wonder that she went through the next round of this popular show. The video has been viewed by almost 10 million people already. Rachel’s baby might have changed her in some ways, but her talent for singing remains golden.
