Scotty McCreery took a tumble on stage during a recent performance, but in true country fashion, he handled it with humor. The country star shared a video of the moment, which shows him losing his footing and hitting the stage mid-performance. Rather than letting the mishap ruin the night, McCreery laughed it off, jokingly yelling, “Who put that there?” from the stage before he continued on with his performance.

The video showcases McCreery falling with the text “The Stage: 1: Me: 0” on top of it.

Following the show, the chart-topping star reflected on the moment, admitting, “I haven’t done that in a minute.”

He revealed that he was in fact okay, however, he fell “right on my wrist.”

A member of his band joked, “Well, if you weren’t hurting before, you are now.”

The cameraman then made his way around the venue after the show to ask each member of the band to share the “highlight of tonight.” Unsurprisingly, each person joked that  “Scotty falling” was the highlight of the show.

However, one bandmate admitted to feeling a bit worried at first, saying,  “I was a little concerned. I’m glad he didn’t hurt himself, but it was just a little enjoyable.”

McCreery’s post caught the attention of fellow North Carolina native Chris Lane, who commented, “been there a million times” alongside several laughing face emojis.

Fans also chimed in, applauding the country star for his quick recovery.

“I have watched this at least 5 times and laugh every time at Scotty’s “recovery” 😍😍 so funny,” one user wrote.

Another shared, “Highlight of the night was Scotty getting back up, c’mon now! 👏
