Vince Gill and Amy Grant’s daughter, Corrina Gill, is making waves with her stunning take on a Taylor Swift deep cut—and even die-hard Swifties are giving their stamp of approval. Showcasing her angelic vocals and heartfelt delivery, Corrina puts a fresh spin on the lesser-known track, proving that talent runs deep in the family. As the daughter of two music legends, she effortlessly blends her own style with the emotional storytelling that made Swift a household name. Fans are now wondering: Could this be the start of a breakthrough moment for Corrina?

Even with 28 Grammy Awards between power couple Vince Gill and Amy Grant, the “One More Last Chance” singer insists their youngest daughter, Corrina, is the most talented in the family. The singer-songwriter, 24, released her debut album, House On Another Street, on Feb. 7. And she recently showed her range with a beautiful Taylor Swift cover.

Social Media Praises “Stunning” Acoustic Taylor Swift Cover

While Taylor Swift has a well-earned reputation for never getting over anything, ever, “Right Where You Left Me” may be the most literal example of this. Released as a bonus track on the deluxe version of 2020’s surprise album Evermore, the song paints a heartbreaking picture of a young woman suspended in time following a failed romance. Did you ever hear about the girl who got frozen? Swift sings softly. She’s still 23 inside her fantasy / How it was supposed to be.

Ahead of her 24th birthday on March 12, Corrina Gill shared her own acoustic cover of “Right Where You Left Me.” “last week of being 23, so I had to sing this song,” she wrote.

From the first note, it’s abundantly clear that Corrina inherited the musical talents of her parents, Vince Gill and Amy Grant. “Oh my gawd this is stunning,” one Instagram user commented. Another added, “I want to keep hearing it again.”

As a certified Swiftie myself, I have to give Corrina’s rendition two thumbs up.

Aside for her obvious admiration for the “All Too Well” singer’s work, it’s not hard to detect Swift’s influence in Corrina’s own music. Teasing her single “Too Much” in 2023, she dedicated the song to “all the people out there who have even been told they’re too emotional.”

Why Vince Gill Loves Taylor Swift

A prolific and celebrated songwriter himself, Vince Gill has also professed his admiration for Taylor Swift. In a particularly memorable moment from 2013, the “nicest guy in Nashville” harshly admonished a fan who booed Swift’s name when Gill mentioned they’d been rehearsing their CMA performance of “Red.”
