The iHeartRadio Music Awards were held on March 17, at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
Although Kenny Chesney didn’t win any awards at the ceremony, he was more than happy to strike the stage. He performed “Get Along,” which is one of his most-streamed hits, and was a track that was released with his Songs for the Saints album in 2018.
It’s one of his most celebrated songs for a reason, and when he performed the tune, he did it with all his soul. If you didn’t catch him, then don’t worry, for he’ll be sticking around in L.A. as he has his residency at The Sphere coming up in May.
Before performing, Chesney was introduced by Kelsea Ballerini as her “hometown hero and dear friend.” Also, she noted that they have relatives who only live doors away.
Singing “Get Along” isn’t just a great song choice, but it’s very apt. With so much division in the states, I’m sure the lyrics will hit home for some.

Fans Loved His Live Performance Of “Get Along”
Fans of the No Shoes Nation singer took to comment sections to share their appreciation of his stellar performance. Lots of love was thrown towards the singer, but that should be expected by now.
Praise for Kenny Chesney has been given out like it’s going out of fashion. But there has been noise online by the Taylor Swift fans who may have tuned in to watch.
One time, some years ago, Taylor Swift surprised Kenny Chesney on stage for his birthday and sang with him. Since then, some Swifties have been watching his performances like hawks in case she pulls a similar stunt.
Hilariously, some tuned in to watch Kenny Chesney perform. I’m sure they weren’t too disappointed, given how good the performance was.
“If I had a nickel for every time I’d been tricked into watching a Kenny Chesney performance bc of Taylor Swift in the last year, I’d have two nickels. . . [which isn’t a lot] but it’s weird that it happened twice,” one posted on X, referencing a popular line from Phineas and Ferb.
