Donald Trump’s website sells “disgusting” new item that violates US constitution

Donald Trump has once again found himself at the center of controversy, this time by hinting at an unprecedented third run for the presidency in 2028, directly challenging the constitutional limits on presidential terms.

Speculation has intensified following suggestions from Trump and his supporters that he could attempt to seek office again after his current term concludes. The 22nd Amendment to the United States Constitution explicitly states that no individual can be elected president more than twice, effectively limiting a president to a maximum of two terms.

Despite this clear constitutional boundary, Trump’s allies, such as U.S. Representative Andy Ogles, have proposed interpretations that might offer a loophole. Ogles recently suggested an alternative reading of the amendment, implying that since Trump’s terms were not consecutive, he might be eligible to run for a third term. He argued, “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than three times, nor be elected to any additional term after being elected to two consecutive terms.”

Trump himself has done little to dismiss these ideas. On the contrary, he has openly entertained the notion and even taken steps that strongly suggest serious consideration of another presidential bid. His official merchandise store has started selling hats and T-shirts bearing the slogan “Trump 2028,” priced at $50 each. The description for these items provocatively reads, “The future looks bright! Rewrite the rules with the Trump 2028 high crown hat.”

This bold marketing move has triggered significant backlash, sparking outrage on social media. One user described the new merchandise as “disgusting,” while others voiced strong concerns over the idea of Trump attempting to circumvent constitutional norms. Comments ranged from accusations that Trump “wants to be Putin” to concerns about the creation of a “cult-like” following.

One social media critic wrote, “He really thinks he can violate the constitution and the two-term limit. What a joke.” Another echoed this sentiment, noting, “Trump 2028 hats are now being sold. It’s a cult.”

The intense reactions highlight the deeply polarizing nature of Trump’s political persona and ambitions. Whether these moves are merely provocative or indicative of actual intentions, they have undeniably stirred strong feelings across the American political landscape.
