Travis, a man of logic and routine, experienced a life-altering moment during a family walk in the woods of Maine. Having moved from Texas for a calmer life, he and his wife Eve, along with their son Robin, were enjoying their new surroundings when Travis wandered off the trail, drawn by curiosity. He soon discovered a hidden graveyard, where his dog Brandy was barking.
To his shock, Travis found a headstone with a photo of a young boy who looked just like him, complete with his birthdate. Confused and frightened, he and Eve left the cemetery, but Travis couldn’t shake the image from his mind. Determined to uncover the mystery, he sought out local residents for answers.
His search led him to Lois Woods, an elderly woman who revealed that the cemetery was linked to a cult from the late 1800s that practiced dark rituals. She suggested that Travis might be connected to a boy who was supposed to be sacrificed but was saved and left at a church in Texas—where Travis himself had been found as a baby.
Travis then met Teddy Sutton, the son of the officer who raided the cult. Teddy confirmed that Travis was the surviving twin, wrapped in a blood-stained blanket and abandoned after a failed escape attempt by his biological parents. Overwhelmed by the truth of his origins, Travis realized the tragic legacy of his family would forever haunt him, even as he sought to understand his roots.
