I Was on a Work Trip When I Saw a Woman I Didn’t Know Tuck My Son Into Bed on the Baby Monitor—What I Uncovered Made Me Seek Revenge

That night, I checked the baby monitor and saw a woman I didn’t know in my son Ben’s nursery, tenderly caring for him. Alarmed, I called my husband Logan, who hung up without explanation. My brother came over and revealed the woman wasn’t a babysitter; she told Logan she’d claim Ben if they divorced.

I flew home the next morning to confront Logan, who admitted he’d made a mistake but insisted he didn’t mean harm. I told him there was no fixing the betrayal. I filed for divorce and gained full custody, determined to protect Ben from further harm.

Later, I found the woman, Claire, on Instagram. I met her under a false name and confronted her with a photo of her in Ben’s nursery. I warned her she might need therapy and left without looking back.

Logan still tries to apologize, but I don’t respond. Now, my home is peaceful again, just me and Ben. Every night, I kiss my son’s forehead, holding onto the love and trust I’ve rebuilt.
