Growing up in a house where your dad is a country music star, it seemed inevitable that one of the Tritt children would show a passion for singing. It turns out, they’ve all caught the bug.

At an early age, Tyler was already showing signs that she has what it takes to follow in her father’s footsteps.

Over the years, Tyler has occasionally joined her dad on stage, proving that she has inherited some of his musical talent. The two joined forces in the recording studio one time, resulting in the creation of a beautiful duet.

In 2013, The Father-Daughter Duo Recorded A Duet Together

When she was just 14 years old, Tyler Reese stepped into the booth with her famous dad for a beautiful duet of Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough” by Patty Smyth and Don Henley. Tyler Reese performed with absolute grace and the same skill and vocal talent you hear in her father.

“It makes a sound like thunder, it makes me feel like rain,” the two harmonized together. “There’s a reason why people don’t stay who they are. Baby, sometimes love just ain’t enough.”

They have performed the song several times live together, including this particular hometown show in 2017.

After The Duet, Tyler Reese Began A Solo Career

After recording “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough,” Tyler was hooked, and knew she wanted to pursue a career in music. In the time since this duet with her dad, she has released several singles including “Perfect,” “Porch Light,” and “Texas Hold Him.”
