The loss of a child must be the most devastating experience a parent can go through. We can hardly fathom the possibility.
For Julie Kemp, this occurred more than once. Her son Landon, though, kept coming back from the other side.
Everyone was shocked by what Landon said to his mom after returning from the dead.
After church, Andy Kemp, his wife Julie, and their 8-year-old son Landon were in their car when an ambulance crashed into them. Andy died instantly, and Julie was severely injured. Landon appeared unresponsive in the backseat, and rescuers didn’t notice him at first.
When they found a child’s shoe, they realized Landon was there. He wasn’t breathing, but after a few minutes, EMTs revived him and rushed him to the hospital. He died twice on the way but was revived both times, despite severe head trauma. Doctors warned Julie that he might survive but would have the mind of a baby.
Miraculously, after two weeks in a coma, Landon woke up and could see clearly. Julie then asked him about his father, and Landon’s response left her speechless: “I saw him in heaven.”
