‘Wheel of Fortune’ Puzzle Turns Heads Over Contestant’s Answer

A “Wheel of Fortune” contestant, Will Jordan, went viral after a hilarious wrong guess on Monday’s episode. The puzzle read: “___E OURSE_F A ROUN OF A___AUSE,” and the correct answer was “Give yourself a round of applause.” However, Jordan guessed, “Treat yourself a round of sausage,” which quickly became internet gold.

The clip has been viewed over half a million times on X (formerly Twitter). Host Ryan Seacrest joined in on the fun, joking, “Will, I kind of like yours better.”

Jordan, a retired Coast Guard veteran now working as a school resource officer, explained his slip-up, saying, “When the lights are on, I just went blank.” He humorously added that if his family laughs, it’s worth it.

The viral moment has led to a charitable cause, with Jordan encouraging donations to the Rocky Hill Human Services Food Bank. His mistake has even caught the attention of sausage company Johnsonville, which is offering free products to customers sharing stories of kindness with #KeepTheInternetJuicy.
