My Husband Didn’t Save Me Any Food for Dinner While I Was Feeding Our Newborn Son

Five weeks ago, I became a mother, and my son became my world. However, our joy was dampened by my mother-in-law’s constant presence, which added stress instead of support. Her visitors and lack of help left me overwhelmed and alone.

One evening, after hours of caring for my baby, I found there was no food left for me. My mother-in-law’s indifference and my husband’s lack of support led to a heated argument. Feeling unseen and exhausted, I decided to leave and stay at my mother’s house.

My father-in-law intervened after hearing my struggles. He confronted my husband and mother-in-law, demanding change. His actions led to my husband stepping up and my mother-in-law returning home. Slowly, things began to improve.

This experience taught me to stand up for myself and my son. With support and change, our home became a space of respect and care, proving that even difficult situations can lead to growth and understanding.
