Famed Rapper Find Out He Has No Fire Insurance as His Mansion Burns Down In L.A. (Photo)

Wildfires in Southern California have destroyed hundreds of homes, leaving many residents with nothing but ashes. Rapper and YouTuber DDG (Daryl Dewayne Granberry Jr.) revealed his home is uninsured against fire damage, potentially causing millions in losses.

During a Twitch livestream on January 9, DDG shared his distress as flames neared his Los Angeles home. “I discovered today that I don’t have fire insurance,” he said, rushing to secure coverage while ensuring his safety.

The fires, which began on January 7, have burned nearly 40,000 acres, claimed 11 lives, and displaced thousands, including celebrities like guitarist Larry LaLonde. Containment remains under 15%.

DDG’s situation highlights the importance of preparedness in high-risk areas. Fans have rallied to support him, reflecting the resilience of communities affected by these devastating wildfires.
