On January 9, DDG shared his distress during a Twitch livestream as flames neared his Los Angeles home. “I discovered today that I don’t have fire insurance,” he said, rushing to secure coverage while ensuring his safety.

The wildfires, which began on January 7, have burned nearly 40,000 acres, killed 11 people, and displaced thousands. Among the affected are celebrities like guitarist Larry LaLonde, with containment efforts still below 15%.

DDG’s situation highlights the importance of preparedness in high-risk areas. Fans have rallied to support him, showcasing the resilience of communities impacted by these devastating fires.
