BREAKING: Man Arrested for Starting LA Fire Burning Over 960 Acres

Authorities have arrested a man suspected of intentionally starting a wildfire in Los Angeles County that has burned over 960 acres.

The fire, which ignited on Tuesday, spread quickly due to dry conditions and strong winds, leading to evacuations in the Angeles National Forest. The suspect, whose identity has not been released, was taken into custody on Wednesday, according to the LA County Sheriff’s Department.

Several structures have been damaged, and hundreds more are at risk. “We are working tirelessly to contain the blaze and protect communities,” said LA County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone. Over 500 firefighters, supported by air tankers and helicopters, are battling the flames.

While investigations continue, containment remains the top priority. Authorities urge residents to stay alert and comply with evacuation orders.
