I thought I had found my happily ever after with Damian, but just days after our wedding, he tragically “died” of a heart attack. Grieving, I attended his funeral, only to later encounter him alive and driving a taxi. He explained that his adoptive parents, who were involved in shady business, had forced him to fake his death to protect me from their threats. After a heated confrontation, he asked for my forgiveness and time to make things right. Eventually, I realized I still loved him, and we started a new life together in a different country, away from his controlling parents. It wasn’t the fairytale I envisioned, but it’s our own story now.
