The 62-year-old actress Jodie Foster won the Golden Globe for ā€œBest Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movieā€ for her role in True Detective: Night Country. This was her tenth nomination and fifth win in her career.

She competed against Sofia Vergara (Griselda), Cate Blanchett (All the Old Knives), Naomi Watts (Feud: Capote vs. the Swans), Cristin Milioti (The Penguin), and Kate Winslet (The Regime).

During Jodie’s acceptance, Sofia playfully interrupted, exclaiming, ā€œOh no, give me one! Just not this again!ā€ Foster responded with a smile, and Sofia eventually laughed after briefly looking serious.
