She competed against Sofia Vergara (Griselda), Cate Blanchett (All the Old Knives), Naomi Watts (Feud: Capote vs. the Swans), Cristin Milioti (The Penguin), and Kate Winslet (The Regime).
During Jodieās acceptance, Sofia playfully interrupted, exclaiming, āOh no, give me one! Just not this again!ā Foster responded with a smile, and Sofia eventually laughed after briefly looking serious.
In her speech, Jodie thanked her peers and mentioned Sofia, saying, āItās amazing to be here at this age, especially next to you, Sofia!ā
