A Hollywood actor from Pirates of the Caribbean and Blue Crush tragically died in a suspected shark attack near Oahu’s North Shore. The 49-year-old surfer was found with severe injuries and pronounced dead at the scene, shocking both Hollywood and the surf community.

Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi called him a courageous spirit, while his wife, Emilia Perry, shared, “He loved the ocean with his whole heart. It’s devastating that it took him from us.”

Co-stars and surfers remembered him as fearless and inspiring. A surfer friend described him as “a legend in the water,” while others praised his charisma and love for life.

The family plans a Hawaii memorial. Emilia said, “He was larger than life, leaving behind a legacy of courage and joy.” His adventurous spirit will continue to inspire many.
