Tragedy in Hollywood: Beloved Actress Dies as LA Wildfires Destroy Her Home

Dalyce Curry, a 95-year-old Hollywood actress, was tragically found dead in her Los Angeles home after wildfires destroyed it. Known for iconic roles in Lady Sings the Blues (1972), The Ten Commandments (1956), and The Blues Brothers (1980), Curry had retired but remained a cherished symbol of Hollywood’s golden era.

Curry was reported missing after her family couldn’t locate her at an evacuation center. She was last seen on Tuesday, the same day the Eaton Fire began spreading. Her remains were discovered on Sunday evening in her Altadena home, leaving her family and fans devastated.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, her granddaughter, Dalyce Kelley, confirmed the loss. “With a heavy heart, I share that our search for Momma D has come to an end,” she wrote, expressing the profound grief her family is enduring.

Curry’s passing leaves a void in the entertainment world. Her legacy, marked by unforgettable performances and a life that touched many, remains a poignant reminder of the human cost of natural disasters.
