Celebrity line-up for Donald Trump’s inauguration revealed

Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States will take place on January 20, 2025, at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. The celebrations will begin on January 19 with a rally in D.C., followed by a fireworks display at Trump’s golf club in Virginia. On the day of the inauguration, Trump will be sworn in at noon by Chief Justice John Roberts, followed by his inaugural address and signing ceremonies.

The day’s events include a traditional luncheon with congressional leaders, a military review, and a parade along Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House. Various inaugural balls will also be held across the city. Notable attendees include former presidents and performers such as Carrie Underwood, The Village People, and Lee Greenwood.

Heightened security measures will be in place, including a large law enforcement presence, National Guard deployment, and road closures around the Capitol. Unlike the 2021 inauguration, the public will be invited to attend, with tickets distributed by congressional offices.

The inauguration, coinciding with Martin Luther King Jr. Day, holds added significance. The event is expected to emphasize unity and progress, with a focus on collaboration in Trump’s second term.

Not all performances ask for attention — some demand silence. At CMT Giants: Vince Gill, Chris Stapleton stepped into the spotlight and delivered a rendition of “Whenever You Come Around” so raw, so soul-soaked, that time itself seemed to slow. With Vince Gill just feet away, Stapleton didn’t push for theatrics. He stood still, let the melody breathe, and sang with a quiet gravity that shook the room in all the right ways. It wasn’t a tribute. It was a transmission — from one master to another, and from the stage straight to the heart.
