President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden welcomed incoming President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump to the White House for tea on Monday morning.
As Trump arrived, Biden greeted him warmly with a shout of, “Welcome home,” and the two couples exchanged handshakes, despite the chilly wind.
They posed for photos, with Biden telling reporters earlier that he was feeling “good” and emphasizing that “joy” was his message for the day.
