Pattie Mallette, born April 2, 1975, in Stratford, Ontario, is widely recognized as Justin Bieber’s mother, but her story is one of remarkable resilience. After losing her sister at age 2 and enduring a childhood filled with abse and truma, Pattie faced struggles with substance use and legal troubles by 14. At 17, following a suicide attempt, she found faith and began to rebuild her life.

At 18, Pattie gave birth to Justin, raising him as a single mother in low-income housing with support from her parents. Despite the challenges, she nurtured Justin’s love for music, leading to his discovery through online videos after entering him in a local talent competition in 2007.
