A man from Katy, Texas, Kevin Dominguez, was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for assaulting a U.S. Border Patrol agent. Lastly, Melvin Armando Funes-Canales, a Honduran citizen with multiple deportations and criminal convictions, was arrested for illegal re-entry in Austin. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
