Tyler had been taken to the hospital after falling debris struck him inside the burning building. Amanda later discovered that the department had tried to contact her but still had an old phone number listed. At the hospital, she found Tyler conscious but suffering from a fractured shoulder, cracked ribs, a concussion, and several bruises.
