Corrections Policy

New50 is committed to correcting meaningful factual errors promptly and transparently.

How to Request a Correction

Send the article URL, the exact statement at issue, an explanation of the concern, and reliable supporting evidence through our Contact Us page.

How We Handle Corrections

We review the original sourcing and any new documentation. When a material factual error is confirmed, we update the article and add a correction or editor’s note describing the change when appropriate.

Clarifications and Updates

A clarification may be added when the original wording was factually accurate but could reasonably mislead without more context. Routine additions to developing stories may be labeled as updates rather than corrections.

What We Normally Do Not Change

We generally do not remove accurate articles merely because a subject later dislikes the coverage. Requests involving privacy, safety, legal orders, copyright, or serious ongoing harm are reviewed individually.
