The vagina normally has an acidic pH, and this natural acidity can sometimes affect the dye in underwear fabric. Over time, it may cause darker material to fade or develop lighter-looking spots.
This type of discoloration is generally considered normal and can simply be a result of the vagina maintaining its natural environment. It does not automatically mean that something is wrong or that the underwear has been exposed to bleach.
So, if you occasionally notice these pale patches, there is usually no reason to panic. They are often just a harmless effect of normal vaginal acidity interacting with the fabric.
