Tommy admitted that he had taken a pencil from school, used a bad word, lied to his mother, and even thrown his sister’s Barbie out the window before claiming it had run away. The priest struggled to hide his laughter.
Then Tommy remembered another prank—putting toothpaste on his grandfather’s dentures while he was sleeping. The amused priest gave him a simple penance and told him to make an effort to behave better.
Afterward, his grandmother asked how everything had gone. Tommy proudly said it was easy, then joked that the priest probably didn’t know half of the things he had done, leaving his grandmother trying not to laugh.
