To prepare them, you’ll need 12 soft dinner rolls, 12 slices of ham, six slices of Swiss cheese, half a cup of melted butter, one tablespoon each of Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce, and one teaspoon each of garlic and onion powder. Slice the rolls horizontally, layer the ham and cheese inside, and replace the tops. Mix the melted butter with the seasonings and brush it over the sandwiches.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the sandwiches in a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 10–15 minutes until the cheese melts. Remove the foil and bake for another five minutes until the tops become golden. Allow them to cool slightly before serving warm.

These sandwiches are also easy to customize. Replace ham with turkey or roast beef, try cheddar or provolone cheese, or add your favorite seasonings. Serve them with salad, pickles, chips, or soup for a complete meal. Leftovers can be refrigerated for three to four days, making these buttery sliders a convenient and delicious choice for almost any occasion.
