Seven-year-old Shaney-Lee, from a farm in southwest England, brought his love for country music to his blind audition on The Voice Kids UK with John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” When judge will.i.am asked if he had ridden a horse, Shaney-Lee charmed everyone by saying, “I came here on my horse today.”
As he sang, his sweet voice captivated the audience and judges alike. Judge Danny Jones called it “the cutest voice I’ve ever heard,” and the crowd quickly stood, clapping and even shedding tears. Described by his mom as “an old soul in a little man’s body,” Shaney-Lee’s heartwarming performance melted judge Pixie Lott’s emotions, showcasing his undeniable charm.
