KOLD-TV in Arizona mourns the sudden departure of 28-year-old anchor Ana Orsini, who died from a brain aneurysm last week. Known for her kindness, humor, and love for saving animals,
Ana’s sudden passing has greatly impacted her colleagues and viewers. Originally from Denver and a Texas A&M graduate, Ana began her career in Lubbock, Texas, and later worked in Oregon before joining KOLD-TV in June 2023.
Her coworkers, including hosts Tyler Butler and Carsyn Currier, paid homage to her with poignant words, noting her generosity, wit, and commitment to her family and community. It was common knowledge that Ana had a devotion to true crime podcasts and that she had a rescue dog named Harley.
Her passing has left a vacuum not only in the newsroom but also all throughout the world, and her coworkers have vowed to honor her legacy of kindness and vivacious personality. May God grant her eternal rest.
