A mother takes her 16-year-old daughter, Darla, to the doctor, concerned about strange cravings, weight gain, and morning sickness. After a thorough examination, the doctor turns to the mother and says, “I hate to break it to you, but Darla is about four months pregnant.
” Shocked, the mother exclaims, “Pregnant?! That’s impossible! She’s never even been alone with a man. Have you, Darla?” The daughter firmly replies, “No, I’ve never even kissed a man!”
The doctor then walks to the window and stares outside silently. After several minutes, the mother, puzzled, asks, “Is something wrong out there?”
The doctor finally responds, “No, not really. It’s just that the last time something like this happened, a star appeared in the east, and three wise men came over the hill. I’m making sure I don’t miss it this time!”
